Ghana’s U-15 boys’ team concluded their journey in the African Schools Football Championship with a 2-1 victory over Uganda, claiming third place on Saturday at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The match began with Uganda taking the lead, as their captain Ashraf Kyakuwa scored in the first half. Uganda dominated the early stages, putting pressure on the Ghanaian defense with their swift attacking play.
However, the Ghanaian team showed remarkable determination in the second half. Energized by the home crowd, midfielder Eric Addai equalized with a composed finish, igniting the stadium with excitement. The momentum shifted in Ghana’s favor, and forward Hakeem Kassim seized the opportunity to score the decisive goal, completing the comeback.
