The Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO), in collaboration with various security agencies, has arrested 219 foreign nationals during a significant bust targeting cybercrime and human trafficking in Accra.
The suspects, primarily young Nigerian males, were reportedly lured to Ghana with false promises of employment and coerced into illegal cyber activities. Among those rescued, eleven were minors, and 35 individuals were identified as suspects involved in trafficking operations.
