President John Dramani Mahama is set for a busy day as he rolls out three significant programmes aimed at empowering young Ghanaians and enhancing healthcare support across the country.

The week of action kicks off today, Monday, with the launch of the Adwumawura Programme, targeting 10,000 young business owners nationwide. This initiative is designed to provide direct support to entrepreneurs, helping them scale their businesses, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth.

On Tuesday, President Mahama will unveil the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, branded as “Mahama Cares.” This fund aims to offer financial assistance to Ghanaians suffering from chronic diseases, alleviating the burden of high long-term medical costs for individuals and families.

The final launch will take place on Wednesday with the introduction of the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP). This programme aims to equip tens of thousands of youth with artisanal and vocational skills, enhancing employability and boosting Ghana’s skilled workforce.
