Mubarick Masawudu, a former parliamentary aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asawase constituency, has been appointed as the Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA).

This appointment is part of a series of leadership changes across key government institutions under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.

Masawudu is well-known for his active involvement in the NDC and his previous efforts to represent Asawase in Parliament. In his new role, he is expected to strengthen the administrative leadership of the Ghana Maritime Authority as it aims to enhance efficiency and promote growth in Ghana’s maritime sector.
